Thinktastic Distribution FAQ

What is the ordering process?

Option 1. We aim to simplify ordering by hand-picking stock for delivery to your store. You simply let us know how much you need in which categories, and we’ll select items that fit your requirements from our recent releases.

It can be as simple as “Please send $500 of mixed children’s titles”.

Option 2. You can create your order by completing an itemised order form. Each month, you will receive an email containing the latest selection of products available.

What if a product does not sell?

We offer Sale or Return to ensure that you always have a new range for your customers and no stagnating stock.

What is meant by Sale or Return?

If a few titles do not sell out after being displayed, they can be returned and swapped for a new selection of items of equal value.

Who sets the selling price?

Thinktastic sets the selling price and applies price stickers to the products ready for sale in your store. Most of our products are market-tested in a direct-to-consumer model giving us unparalleled insights into current trends and the best pricing to maximise turnover.

Can I set my own pricing?

We can offer firm sale orders to retailers that would prefer to set their own pricing. However, we do not provide a sale or return option for these orders.

Do I have to add price stickers?

No. Thinktastic applies the price stickers to your products before sending your order.

Is there a minimum order amount?

No. However, please note that invoices under $300 incur a small order surcharge of $10.

How do I profit from sales?

We offer a discount off the sticker price at a tiered rate, so the more you order, the bigger the discount, which means more profit.

Can I set up an account?

Yes, we offer 30-day trading terms to approved accounts. For all other orders, we require payment before dispatch.

What is the process for returns?

Complete a Returns form and include it with the stock to return. When your Thinktastic team member visits they will collect your returning stock.

If you do not have a Rep that regularly visits your store to collect returns, carefully box up the returns and email the dimensions to your contact, who will send a courier label and arrange courier collection.

Are there any restrictions on returns?

You are responsible for the care of the stock, ensuring it remains in a saleable condition to be eligible for return.

Stock older than six months will not be eligible for return.

What are the delivery charges?

All orders are delivered free of charge, whether completed by a Thinktastic team member or courier service.
